Accommodation at the Student Halls

The ASSEE Organizing Committee has arranged for accommodation that is included in the registration fees.

Accommodation in the Student Halls includes standard air-conditioned bedrooms with individual bathrooms and a single bed. All residences are located on central campus (see map) in close proximity to lecture room and computer labs. All en suite bedrooms are equipped with:

• Towels
• Toilletries
• Fridge and small kitchen
• Anti-mosquito device
• Working desk
• WiFi access (access code can be obtained on arrival. Eduroam connection is available using your institutional credentials)

Accessible bedrooms are also available upon request. To ensure that you have the opportunity to network with all the ASSEE students, all residences have social areas with communal kitchen. Other socializing areas are available around the campus. Should you wish to extend your stay with us before or after the Summer School we can make arrangements for you (please contact ASSEE secretary). However, due to University of Crete regulations we cannot extend your stay more than two days before and after summer school period.

Venue for Breakfast

Breakfast (also included in the registration fees) will take place at the University Restaurant in the VIP lounge (see map) between 08:00 and 09:00 from Monday to Saturday.

 

Further Important Information

Those participants wishing to arrange for a taxi to the airport or wishing to stay in Crete some extra nights beyond the completion of the summer school can contact the travel agency CRETAN CONNECTION to arrange for that.
